Ms. Marta Areny is COO of FIMED Group - Zuger Partners AG, a group that she co-founded in 2011. Forensic economist with more than 10 years of experience in commercial courts. She is an expert in regulatory compliance and alternative assets. She is the director and founder of several alternative investment funds regulated in different jurisdictions. Marta has experience advising Spanish and Latin American companies, with specific experience in the area of alternative funds, fund structuring, companies and subsidiaries in Switzerland and Luxembourg.
She is considered a pioneer in administrative, tax, compliance, and economic analysis of decentralized business models, blockchain-based transactions, ICOs, and digital assets. Her clients from the tech and FinTech industry range from innovative “Crypto Valley” start-ups and internationally active renowned companies to professional investors and UHNWIs.
